About the role

The Head Teacher will lead a team of educators within Gentem's Genstarkids product, ensuring high‑quality instruction and driving student success. This senior role combines instructional leadership with business‑focused responsibilities such as student retention and parent engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teachers to deliver engaging, high‑impact lessons.
• Own academic business metrics, including student retention, attendance, learning progress, and contract renewals.
• Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to maximize satisfaction and long‑term enrollment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to increase renewals and referrals.
• Support teacher development through coaching, feedback, and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in education management, teaching, and leading a team of educators.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to inspire and guide teachers.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for parents and prospective students.
• Effective problem‑solving skills to maintain high‑quality education and smooth operations.
• Business acumen with understanding of metrics such as retention, renewals, enrollment growth, and parent satisfaction.
