Head of Upper School

About the role

Green School Bali seeks an inspiring educational leader to head the Upper School, overseeing Middle and High School programmes. The role combines strategic vision with day‑to‑day operational management to deliver regenerative education.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Upper School operations, fostering a caring, collaborative learning community and serving on the Green School Executive Committee.
• Develop and continuously improve rigorous, regenerative learning programmes, promoting innovation and professional learning.
• Oversee student wellbeing, pastoral care, safeguarding and child‑protection commitments.
• Manage the Upper School budget, resources and sustainable procurement practices.
• Partner with Admissions and Marketing to promote the Upper School and engage prospective families.
• Recruit, develop and manage faculty and staff, driving performance and a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven school leadership and management experience in a progressive, regenerative education setting.
• Experience in Middle and/or High School environments with strong academic programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students, families and staff.
• Culturally aware communicator with excellent English skills, integrity and sound judgment.
• Master’s degree in Education or related field and ability to meet Indonesian work‑permit requirements.
