We are seeking a freelance Content Clipper specialized in Mandarin to transform the latest Chinese and Taiwanese news into compelling social‑media posts for our online class platform. The position is project‑based, allowing you to work independently while delivering timely, high‑impact content that resonates with our audience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Chinese and Taiwanese news outlets and identify trending topics relevant to our learners.
• Research and verify information quickly to ensure accuracy.
• Produce single‑post or carousel formats, adhering to strict turnaround times (3 hours for a single post, 6 hours for a carousel).
• Draft concise briefs and design the final visuals using Canva.
• When required, translate short video clips and adapt them for TikTok.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all content.

Required profile

• Ability to work fast under urgent, unscheduled deadlines.
• Strong interest in current events and trends in China and Taiwan.
• Basic Mandarin reading or speaking skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva for graphic design.
• Basic TikTok skills for video translation and formatting.
