Finance Operation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Operation Specialist to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management, and internal controls for OttoDigital Group. The role combines day‑to‑day accounting tasks with strategic analysis to improve cost efficiency and support audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and manage general ledger entries.
• Perform account reconciliations, including routine reconciliations for gold inventory and high‑value commodity transactions.
• Assist in building operational budgets, conduct variance analysis, financial forecasting and identify cost‑efficiency opportunities.
• Monitor daily cash‑flow movements, optimise working capital, handle corporate bank transactions and liquidity planning.
• Implement cost‑control mechanisms, monitor departmental expenses and ensure compliance with internal budgets.
• Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory accounting standards and support internal and external audit processes.
• Execute internal financial controls to safeguard assets, identify financial risks and maintain process integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or treasury operations.
• Prior experience in mining, gold, commodities, trading or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting, cost control and tax compliance.
• High level of integrity, accountability and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/Accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Xero or QuickBooks.
