Finance & Accounting Officer

About the role

The Finance & Accounting Officer will manage daily collection activities, ensuring accurate processing of auto‑debit payments and handling customer inquiries. This role supports the finance team by maintaining ledger integrity and safeguarding confidential transaction data.

Key responsibilities

• Process recurring auto‑debit payments for Bancassurance and individual customers.
• Verify transaction details, calculate charges and refunds, and identify delinquent or insufficient payments.
• Follow up on overdue accounts, notify customers, and arrange payment plans.
• Post collection transactions to the system and maintain bank account ledgers.
• Reconcile account statements and verify financial transactions.
• Escalate delinquent‑account issues to management when necessary.
• Prepare and monitor collection reports for assigned accounts.
• Compile, analyze, and respond to collection‑related inquiries.
• Ensure confidentiality, accurate documentation, and proper filing of all collection records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or collections.
• Understanding of financial and accounting processes, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines.
