Field Office Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Field Office Supply Chain Officer in Sumba supports end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics functions for both programmatic and operational needs. The role ensures compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements and local regulations to enable timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely procurement of goods and services, maintain local procurement plans and trackers, and coordinate competitive bidding and quotation analysis.
• Manage the field office warehouse, ensure compliance with storage standards, and reconcile stock records and monthly reports.
• Maintain accurate asset records, conduct periodic physical checks, and oversee asset disposal or reallocation.
• Schedule field vehicles, monitor fuel usage, keep movement logs, and ensure vehicle maintenance aligns with safety standards.
• Process utility payments, maintain inventory of office supplies, and support field office safety, cleanliness and maintenance coordination.
• Document all procurement and logistics transactions, support audit preparation, and participate in compliance checks.
• Implement and monitor fraud prevention and reporting protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain, preferably in NGO or development settings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel within the Sumba region and to emergency sites as required.
• Currently based in Sumba or willing to relocate there.
