Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the Demand Planning team in improving demand forecast accuracy and reliability. You will analyze sales and demand patterns, develop forecasting logic, and build automated tools and monitoring to support inventory and fulfillment decisions, ensuring customer demand is met just‑in‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand patterns across SKU, hub, category, time period, campaigns, price changes and seasonal events, and develop and improve forecasting logic.
• Monitor forecast‑performance metrics, investigate sales anomalies, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for planners and supply‑chain stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, building datasets, dashboards, alerts and automated workflows using SQL, Python and BigQuery.
• Automate manual forecasting and monitoring processes with workflow orchestration tools, Google Sheets integrations and reporting platforms.
• Maintain documentation of technical logic, data lineage, source tables and operational runbooks.
• Own daily forecasting pipelines, ensure reliability, troubleshoot data‑quality issues, perform manual runs or backfills and collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Analytics Engineer or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large‑scale datasets, preferably in BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation and pipeline development.
• Understanding of demand forecasting concepts, seasonality, outliers and accuracy metrics.
• Experience building dashboards, automated reports, data pipelines and monitoring tools.
• Strong problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and data‑validation abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• High ownership, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
