Business Analyst

About the role

MileApp is looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between client needs and product delivery. You will work closely with Sales, Product and Engineering to turn business requirements into actionable specifications and data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth analysis of business requirements and uncover root causes behind client requests.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for Product and Engineering teams.
• Run gap analyses between requested features and existing product capabilities.
• Build business cases and cost‑benefit/ROI analyses for proposed solutions or customisations.
• Analyse operational data to surface insights that strengthen solution recommendations.
• Support complex, data‑heavy cases that require deeper analytical work.
• Maintain clean, standardised requirement documentation linking Sales, Product and Engineering.
• Provide data‑driven input for product‑roadmap prioritisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management, Statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written communication for creating BRDs, FRDs and user stories.
• Comfortable working cross‑functionally with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
