Associate - Advisory Deals - Business Recovery Services

About the role

PwC’s Deals team in Indonesia is looking for an Associate to support clients through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and business recovery situations. You will help companies navigate financial distress, restructure operations, and maximize value in complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on M&A transactions, including target search, due diligence, valuation, and negotiation.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess deal feasibility and recovery outcomes.
• Assist in corporate and group restructuring, debt restructuring, and fundraising initiatives.
• Review transaction documents and support clients through the execution phase.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high‑quality client solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale).
• Master’s or MBA degree is a plus.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous.
• Relevant experience in buy‑side or sell‑side M&A advisory, financial modeling, feasibility studies, or corporate restructuring.
