Associate 1 – Assurance (CMAAS) – Jakarta

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate to join its Assurance team in Jakarta, focusing on Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS). You will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting and transaction structures for both public and private deals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accounting advisory and financial reporting support for complex transactions and transformational business events.
• Advise clients on IFRS and Indonesian GAAP implications of deals, restructurings and capital‑raising activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop accounting models, policies and documentation.
• Stay current with the latest accounting standards and contribute to thought leadership within the practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience in a public accounting firm or consulting environment.
• Strong interest in technical accounting research and staying up‑to‑date with IFRS and Indonesian GAAP.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality results.
