About the role
The Assistant Technician supports daily operations at PT. SOXAL BATAMINDO Industrial Gases, handling plant monitoring, housekeeping, security, and safe transfer of liquid nitrogen from road tankers to on‑site storage.
Key responsibilities
- Perform site housekeeping and maintain security of the plant.
- Transfer liquid nitrogen from road tankers to storage tanks following documented procedures.
- Log daily performance of backup storage tanks and overall plant performance.
- Assist with routine plant maintenance and report any breakdowns, product non‑conformances, or site issues to the Operations Engineer and Senior Accounts & Admin Executive.
Required profile
- Technical degree with 0‑1 year experience or high school diploma with at least 3 years experience.
- Strong understanding of personal and process safety standards in an industrial plant.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Required skills
- Liquid nitrogen transfer procedures.
- Plant monitoring and daily logging.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment handling.
