Assistant Manager – Engineering (Manufacturing & Production)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced engineering professional to lead design planning, technical supervision, and operational maintenance for our manufacturing facilities. The role ensures that all projects, machines, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with established SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct design planning and oversee technical execution of plant projects.
• Supervise operational maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and OHS/HSE regulations.
• Manage energy usage and CAPEX projects for plant modifications.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to implement automation and control system upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (minimum GPA 3.0).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or plant engineering.
• Strong knowledge of casting, forging, injection molding, machining, polishing, plating, and PVD processes.
• Solid understanding of factory utility systems, industrial automation, and control systems.
• Experience with energy management and CAPEX project management.
• Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/HSE) practices and government regulations.

Required skills

• AutoCAD or similar engineering drawing software.
• Knowledge of casting, forging, injection molding, machining, polishing, plating, and PVD.
• Industrial automation and control systems.
• Energy management and CAPEX project handling.
• OHS/HSE compliance.
