Area Sales Manager – Pontianak

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Pontianak region. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing sales orders, and ensuring high service levels across distributor, retail and modern retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new customers (Distributor, Retail, Modern Retail) in potential areas.
• Plan, track and follow up sales orders, customer forecasting and account planning.
• Ensure timely payment of customers for deliveries and conduct follow‑up.
• Achieve user service level, manage customer complaints and coordinate with internal sales administration for on‑time delivery.
• Maintain a consistent customer visit plan to support marketing activities and push sales information.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and in a disciplined manner.
• Provide after‑sales support, warranty handling and product returns due to errors.
• Work with the Sales Manager to assess weighted and numeric product distribution within the channel.
• Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop the right product mix for the market and distribution.
• Develop business and set a business plan for the working area.

Required profile

• Proven ability to acquire new customers across distributor, retail and modern retail channels.
• Strong planning and forecasting skills for sales orders and individual accounts.
• Capability to ensure timely customer payments and conduct follow‑up.
• Experience managing customer service levels and handling complaints.
• Skill in coordinating with internal sales administration to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Ability to maintain regular customer visits and support marketing push activities.
• Knowledge of after‑sales support, warranty handling and product returns.
• Experience working with sales managers on product distribution analysis and with marketing teams on product mix.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business and set a business plan for a specific area.
