Accounting Manager – Manufacturing & Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance function within a manufacturing and production environment. The role will oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, preparing balance sheets, P&L and cash flow statements.
• Recruit, train and supervise the accounting team, including AP, AR, payroll and staff accountants.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.
• Act as primary liaison for internal and external auditors and coordinate tax compliance and filing.
• Develop, implement and enforce accounting policies and SOPs to protect assets and prevent fraud.
• Assist the CFO in annual budgeting and perform variance analysis against actual results.
• Manage and optimize the ERP/accounting system to automate workflows and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA, CMA, Tax Brevet) preferred.
• 5‑7 years of accounting experience with at least 2‑3 years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Reporting Standards (PSAK) and IFRS.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with robust accounting/ERP software.
