Research Quality Consultant for District Education Projects

About the role

The KREASI programme, managed by Save the Children, seeks an external collaborator to ensure research quality across eight districts in Indonesia. The consultant will guide local partners through research induction, mentoring, and quality checks to produce rigorous evidence for program learning and policy advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct an online research induction session and develop related materials for all partner researchers.
• Provide online research clinics/mentoring and perform quality checks at each research stage (ideation, design, data collection, analysis, conclusions, dissemination).
• Map partner research timelines, create a workplan, and deliver bi‑weekly progress reports to the KREASI Research Consultant.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in social research, education, public policy, statistics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of applied quantitative, qualitative and mixed‑methods research experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia’s education sector and ability to link research to advocacy.
