PACS and DICOM Integration Support Engineer

About the role

The Integration Support Engineer will provide technical integration and support for DICOM and PACS systems across multiple healthcare facilities. Working remotely, you will install, configure, monitor, and train clinical users on imaging workflows while ensuring secure, hybrid network connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and RESTful services for medical imaging projects.
• Provide remote troubleshooting, 24/7 on‑call support, and multi‑vendor training for imaging devices.
• Maintain internal databases, document project lifecycles, and create process‑optimization improvements.
• Deploy and manage hardware and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, cloud platforms) and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with UNIX/Linux systems, networking, and medical imaging integration.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Linux/UNIX administration and shell scripting (bash)
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud environments
• NAS/RAID configuration, MS Certificate Services (optional)
