About the role
ABB is looking for an Electrical Designer to join its Distribution Solutions Division in Indonesia. You will act as a design authority, delivering cost‑effective electrical distribution solutions for medium‑voltage projects.
Key responsibilities
- Work with customers to shape and deliver solutions, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
- Create work plans, cost estimates and ensure timely, quality implementation within budget.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, testing, installation and commissioning teams to ensure designs are executed correctly.
- Coach engineering colleagues on translating conceptual designs into detailed documentation and share best practices.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in switchgear electrical design, control systems and protection relay coordination.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English for effective communication with customers and internal teams.
