Sponsorship in Programming Lead – Indonesia Timur

About the role

The Sponsorship in Programming (SIP) Lead coordinates the integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship essentials across World Vision Indonesia’s programmes. Reporting to the Sponsorship Manager, the role ensures that sponsorship indicators are embedded in assessment, design, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (DMEAL) systems and that data informs programmatic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with World Vision Global Centre and Regional Office to align sponsorship integration across all programmes.
• Collaborate with Field Offices, Area Programs, partner organisations and internal functions to ensure compliance with Sponsorship in Programming requirements.
• Triangulate sponsorship data and use it to guide decisions that improve child well‑being and meaningful participation.
• Develop compelling, integrated sponsorship stories that combine authentic child perspectives with evidence of change.
• Support Area Programs in linking sponsorship activities with child participation, life‑skills development, advocacy and community‑led care initiatives.
• Contribute to global sponsor retention and acquisition by providing high‑quality child and community data.

Required profile

• Strong facilitation, influencing and capacity‑building skills.
• Experience working with global, regional and field teams in a humanitarian or development context.
• Ability to ensure compliance with sponsorship standards and embed key performance indicators.
• Excellent communication skills for developing integrated sponsorship narratives.
