Project Officer – CORE Group Partners Project (East Java)

About the role

The Project Officer will support the District Coordinator in delivering the CORE Group Partners Project in East Java, focusing on polio eradication and immunisation system strengthening. This frontline position works directly with communities, local partners and health staff to ensure high‑quality implementation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the District Coordinator in planning, executing and monitoring project activities according to the approved work plan.
• Facilitate community‑level engagement, including mobilisation of kaders, volunteers and health staff for immunisation and surveillance activities.
• Provide data and information for strategy development, micro‑planning and activity scheduling at the puskesmas and community level.
• Document lessons learned, identify barriers, and propose adjustments to improve implementation.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, humanitarian standards and cost‑effective use of resources.
• Support inventory management and reporting of field activities.

Required profile

• Experience working on community health projects, preferably in polio eradication or immunisation.
• Ability to collaborate with implementing partners, local NGOs and health authorities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for data collection and reporting.
• Willingness to work in remote, hard‑to‑reach areas of East Java.
