Program Coordinator – Sentani Sarmi

About the role

The Program Coordinator will support the implementation of the ADP (Child Sponsorship) plan in Sentani and Sarmi, ensuring high‑quality monitoring, reporting and compliance with partnership standards. Working closely with the ADP Manager and local partners, the role contributes to the wellbeing of vulnerable children and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update SOP and IPF annual plans in line with organisational and donor standards.
• Design and execute program strategies at the ADP level, aligning with government policies.
• Assist the ADP Manager in identifying funding gaps and preparing budgets for target areas.
• Coordinate resource acquisition, ensuring cost‑effective use of funds.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building to ADP staff, local partners and community volunteers.
• Facilitate the Program Quality Self‑Review (PQSR) process.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme coordination or management within the humanitarian/NGO sector.
• Strong understanding of SOP, IPF, and partnership compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work with donors, government agencies and community partners.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
