Program Coordinator – Kubu Raya

About the role

The Program Coordinator will support the implementation of the ADP (Child Sponsorship) program in Kubu Raya, ensuring high‑quality monitoring, reporting and compliance with partnership standards. Working closely with the ADP Manager and local partners, the role contributes to the organization’s mission of improving the well‑being of vulnerable children and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update SOP and IPF annual plans in line with organizational and donor standards.
• Design and execute program strategies at the ADP level, aligning with government policies.
• Facilitate the Program Quality Self‑Review (PQSR) process and ensure documentation meets SOP & IPF criteria.
• Identify funding gaps beyond child sponsorship and support resource acquisition and budgeting for target areas.
• Provide technical advice and capacity‑building to ADP staff, local partners and community volunteers on monitoring, protection and community participation.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities, ensuring coordinated delivery of assistance.
• Oversee data management and reporting to inform management decisions and organizational learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating development or child‑focused programs in humanitarian settings.
• Familiarity with donor and government regulations related to child sponsorship and protection.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners, volunteers and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and adapt program activities as needed.
• Good command of English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
