Monitoring Evaluation & Learning Coordinator – PASTI Project (Papua)

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, data management and learning processes for the Partnership to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Indonesia (PASTI) project in Papua.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the effective planning and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, data management and learning activities aligned with project goals and national policies.
• Develop and maintain databases, data analysis tools, and ensure compliance with DMEAL standards and relevant guidelines.
• Provide technical support for budgeting, capacity building, and mobilising community resources for project implementation.
• Conduct periodic data quality assessments, maintain a central data repository, and produce accurate bi‑weekly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Lead and mentor the MEL team, ensure child‑protection compliance, and facilitate spiritual nurture activities for staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social development, statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in monitoring, evaluation, research and learning.
• Fluent in Bahasa (native) and English (minimum TOEFL score 450).
• Willingness to travel frequently within Nabire, Mimika and Asmat.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data collection tools such as KoboCollect and ODK.
• Experience managing project databases and conducting data analysis.
• Ability to develop monitoring systems, SOPs and data‑management guidelines.
