Area Program Manager – Timor Tengah Selatan

About the role

World Vision Indonesia is seeking an experienced Area Program Manager to lead and coordinate program activities in Timor Tengah Selatan. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, faith‑based development, advocacy, and emergency response initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management for Area Programs in line with national, sector and disaster‑preparedness strategies.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Area Program Annual Operating Plan, including budget, milestones and performance indicators.
• Manage and coordinate AP staff, ensuring effective collaboration with partners, community‑based and faith‑based organisations.
• Integrate disaster management, advocacy, gender equity, peace‑building, environmental protection and Christian commitment into program design and implementation.
• Prepare and submit budget proposals and funding requests aligned with national strategies and partnership standards.
• Support organizational readiness and response during emergencies, ensuring timely and accountable assistance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading multi‑sectoral development or humanitarian programs.
• Strong understanding of national and regional strategies, partnership models and funding mechanisms.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government, NGOs and community groups.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and mission.
