Area Program Manager – North Jakarta

About the role

The Area Program Manager will provide overall leadership and management for the Area Programs (AP) in North Jakarta, ensuring alignment with national and regional strategies and the organization’s policies. This role supports transformational development, advocacy, and emergency response initiatives while upholding the organization’s Christian values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate AP staff, partners and community volunteers to deliver high‑quality programmes.
• Develop, implement and monitor the AP Annual Operating Plan, budget, policies & procedures and key milestones.
• Ensure integration of disaster management, advocacy, gender equity, peace‑building, environmental protection and Christian commitment into all projects.
• Prepare funding proposals, manage resource acquisition and align budgets with national strategies.
• Contribute to the development of national, zonal and corporate strategies.
• Support organizational readiness and response during emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing area‑wide programmes within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work with diverse partners, including community‑based and faith‑based organisations.
• Knowledge of national and regional development strategies and disaster preparedness plans.
• Commitment to the organization’s core values of transformational development, advocacy and emergency response.
