Sales Manager – Wedding & Social Events

About the role

The Sales Manager (Wedding & Social Event) will drive revenue growth for the hotel by managing key accounts, prospecting new clients and maximizing market share across assigned territories. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and execute action plans that align with the company’s sales vision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and geographic markets, ensuring revenue maximisation and target achievement.
• Prospect and acquire new accounts, with a focus on European markets and other assigned regions.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on tentative bookings.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of competitor set and all hotel services.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, applying SMART contracting principles.
• Attend trade shows, sales blitzes, workshops and other promotional events.
• Assist the Director of Sales in defining and executing the annual sales action plan and budget.
• Execute sales actions within the approved cost budget and document all activities in the SFA (S&C) system.
• Keep the OPERA contact database up‑to‑date at all times.
• Cross‑sell other Kempinski hotels and uphold the Company Sales Vision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel sales and account management.
• Strong knowledge of European markets and competitor landscape.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and manage bookings.
• Familiarity with corporate SOPs and contract negotiation.
• Experience attending trade shows and representing the hotel.
• Capability to collaborate with senior sales leadership on action plans and budgets.
