Sales Manager – Corporate Rooms

About the role

The Sales Manager (Rooms – Corporate) will drive revenue growth for the hotel by managing an assigned corporate account base and prospecting new clients across designated markets. Success is measured against set revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts within an assigned geographic area, maximizing revenue and market share.
• Prospect and acquire new corporate accounts.
• Conduct site inspections and follow corporate SOPs.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of competitor set and hotel services.
• Negotiate and secure contracts, ensuring optimal yields during rate negotiations.
• Attend trade shows, sales blitzes, and workshops in target markets.
• Assist the Director of Sales in creating and executing the annual sales action plan and budget forecasts.
• Execute sales actions within the allocated cost budget and document activities in the SFA system.
• Update the OPERA contact database regularly and cross‑sell other Kempinski properties.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate hotel sales and key account management.
• Strong understanding of the hotel market, competitor landscape, and revenue‑maximisation strategies.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and present hotel offerings to corporate clients.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing annual rate negotiations.
• Familiarity with trade show participation and sales‑driven events.
